FRACTIONAL Co2 laser resurfacing with deka smartxide dot

DOT fractional co2 is the treatment of choice for advanced photoaging and wrinkling of facial skin. Like Fraxel, DOT CO2 works by fractionating the CO2 laser beam into tiny "dots" that make the treatment safer, better tolerated and with less downtime. As an "ablative" laser treatment, Smartxide DOT is a more aggressive procedure than "non-ablative" treatments, such as Fraxel Re:store. What could previously be accomplished in a series of non-ablative sessions can now be achieved in 1 or 2 ablative treatments. Since it is more aggressive, its use is restricted to lighter-skinned patients for safety.

How SMARTXIDE DOT WOrks

Unlike CO2 laser treatments of the past that were not fractionated, Smartxice DOT treatment breaks up the CO2 laser beam into tiny individual beams that penetrate deeply but spare the skin between them. The density of the beams determines the intensity of the treatment, the expected results and the downtime. If you want moderate results and are concerned about downtime, then treatment settings can be adjusted to accomodate your needs. If you want serious results and are willing to put up with a few days of downtime, then this treatment is for you.
