How tickle lipo WOrks


Older methods of liposuction involve manually pushing cannulas back and forth under the skin while suctioning out the fat. Laser liposuction uses a laser cannula to do the same thing, melting fat as it goes. Unfortunately, laser liposuction techniques carry the risk of burns to the skin and supporting tissues.

Tickle Lipo is a new technique that uses a vibrational movement of the cannula that creates a "nutational" force which gently breaks up fat while sparing the surrounding support tissues, blood vessels, and nerves. The surgeon's movement of the cannula is smooth and elegant compared to the jerky back and forth movements of traditional liposuction. The result is a faster procedure, less bruising and better skin tightening post-operatively.

Who performs the Tickle Lipo at Celebrtiy Laser Spa?

All liposuction treatments are performed by Dr. Alex Kaplan, from the consultation to the procedure itself.


How much downtime is there after Tickle Lipo?

Patients walk out of the treatment room and are typically able to go home 15-30 minutes later. Most normal activities can be resumed right away. A compression garment is worn for 3 weeks to facilitate re-seating of the skin and optimize clinical results.


Is there a lot of bruising?

A little bruising is possible, but with Tickle Lipo, there is much less bruising than with traditional liposuction.

 

When will I see results?

You will see a dramatic change immediately and throughout the first week as fluid leaves the treated area. Maximum results will occur over the following 3 to 6 months.

Are there scars after the procedure?

Although scarring is possible with any surgical procedure, only 2-3 tiny holes are needed for most areas of the body. They are so small that stitches aren't even needed.


Which is better - Tickle Lipo or Laser Lipo?

A disadvantage of “laser” lipolysis is that it requires the extra step of melting fat with laser energy. This introduces the risk of burns and makes sculpting more challenging. With Tickle LipoTM, fat is removed as the procedure goes on, allowing for more control and superior sculpting. There is no risk of burns and the procedure is much faster.


Do I need to wear special garments after Tickle Lipo?

We will provide special compression garments for you to wear for after surgery. It is recommended to wear them for 3 weeks.
