The concept for CLS originated in 2003 when I volunteered in a tattoo removal program for ex-gang members at Homeboy Industries/Jobs for a Future. From this experience I was inspired to offer cosmetic treatments using the best available technology with an emphasis on patient comfort and customer service. This mission evolved into the unique concept that everybody deserves an experience that makes them feel as special as a celebrity.

My wife Amy and I humbly started this practice with a single laser and a limited range of treatments. Our menu of services and staff has steadily grown over the years, however, we remain a family business. Unlike corporate or chain medical spas, we are hands-on owners that are focused on providing individualized and family-like care to our patients.

Dr. Alex Kaplan – Cosmetic Surgeon & Medical Director
Hi, I’m Dr. Alex Kaplan, the cosmetic surgeon and the medical director of Celebrity Laser Spa. I graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1996 and subsequently trained in general and plastic surgery at the University of Chicago. A fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, I am also board-certified in emergency medicine.
